Organic Italian products
Today, this community continues with the next generation and focuses on non-GMO, organic methods, traditional artisan food techniques, and avoiding additives, colors, and preservatives. In-store, you will find a wide selection of products slowly cured meats, fresh ragú pasta sauces, organic pantry condiments, prized organic extra virgin olive oil, and aged organic balsamic vinegar from Modena.
We travel across the country to find the best chili pepper from Calabria, pasture-raised meats from the hills between Florence and Arezzo, and pure organic salt from the mines near the medieval town of Volterra, to work with the best producers in the Italian gourmet food market. Casa Ceccatelli prides itself on quality and community having always had deep, and very connected, Tuscan roots which continue on today.
Our humble beginnings
Nestled in the historic village of Casa Ceccatelli is a family affair. Five generations of Tuscans have continued to preserve the food heritage of this Italian region providing gourmet products since 1890. Today, you will find Paolo Fagotti behind the ‘bottega’ counter passionately serving quality food items using free-range and organic produce. Working with local farming families to source the best quality ingredients throughout Italy, Casa Ceccatelli creates handmade products using authentic family recipes and artisan traditions.
Having inherited his family’s love for the region and its cuisine from mother Gabriella Ceccatelli, who owned and ran Casa Ceccatelli after her father, Mario and grandfather, Domenico for 65 years, Paolo’s early memories are of being surrounded by food, family and the community Casa Ceccatelli created.
