Wild boar roams freely around the forests of Tuscany and is considered a prized meat by locals. Offering a distinct, robust taste, the meat has an almost cinnamon taste on the palate. This hearty salami is mixed with pork sausage then simply cured with salt and pepper to allow its natural richness in flavor to evolve. Best paired on an antipasti board with medium-aged cheeses or simply served on its own as a light snack.
